Owners of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro are complaining about battery health — but it's not at all clear yet if this is an actual issue. AppleInsider looks at the data. AppleInsider looks at

Some iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max users saw inaccurate reports of estimated battery health. Though this did not mean a problem with the actual battery health, it resulted in unexpected battery drains and even reduced peak performance. To fix this, iOS 14.5 recalibrates the maximum battery capacity and peak performance capability on the

My iphone is showing a message that performance degraded, and local service is saying that battery can swell, short circuit and many bad things might happen. Mine at 74%, dont know if I really should spend money on replacing it, I am fine with how long it holds the charge

Going from 0% to 100% is more damaging to the cells than going from 25% to 75% twice. Both cases will correspond to 1 charge cycle but one case will exhibit less wear than the other. Therefore going 0 to 100% for 500 times is more damaging than going 25 to 75% 1000 times. prgrmrx010. That includes the lithium-ion battery that’s in your iPhone right now. When batteries degrade, they can cause all sorts of problems for your iPhone — from reduced battery life to performance issues. This is an especially pertinent topic in the aftermath of the Batterygate fiasco and the introduction of battery health tools in iOS 11.3.
Battery health unknown. If iOS is unable to determine the device's battery health, you'll see this message: This iPhone is unable to determine battery health. I’ve got the regular 13 Pro, purchased on launch day, and still have 100% capacity. cavefishes • 1 yr. ago. Launch day 13PM, lots of 8-10 hour SoT days and some longer, still 100% battery health. Honestly I have a tough time even getting this thing down below 35% on heavy days. Battery is absolutely killer!
Battery Health & Charging will tell you the current capacity of your iPhone’s battery. here is one to use if you own an iPhone 14 Pro.) The process involves unscrewing the back of the phone

At this rate, it will last up to 30 hours. Keep in mind that I am home so it has been on WiFi all day, which is much more efficient than cellular.
I’ve heard from a number of iPhone 11 Pro users that their battery health is dropping quicker than usual. I got mine on launch day and it’s at 98%. That’s weird. I’ve had other iPhones that would be at 100% for like 10-12 months. It’s also weird as I’m basically cycling the phone battery far less. I never use it all up during the day.
After you update to iOS 14.5 on your iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, or iPhone 11 Pro Max, you might see one of the following messages in Settings > Battery > Battery Health. Battery recalibrating If you see the message below, it means the battery health reporting system on your iPhone is recalibrating. I’m on 100% even after 2 years. It started going down to 96% and after the battery recalibration feature, it went back to 100%. The battery is slightly worse than when i got it too. imissblockbuster1983 • 2 yr. ago. Same I bought my iPhone 11 Pro on 9/2/20 and it’s 12/17/21 and I hit 79% battery life this morning. The first phase applies a blast of voltage to the empty or nearly empty battery. This gives you that blazing charge of from 50% to 70% in the first 10, 15 or 30 minutes. That's because during the first phase of charging, batteries can absorb a charge quickly without major negative effects on their long-term health.”.
11. Kelevra712. • 4 yr. ago. Same. Running iPhone 11 Pro Max on 13.2. Pre Jailbreak battery cap was listed as 97%. Post Jailbreak its back up to 100%. When I Reboot my phone to go back to a non-jailbroken status, the battery cap is still at 100% (not complaining, but would like to know whats 'real' :P) meccanikal.
Iphone 12 pro battery health issue and stats. my 12 pro max has dropped the battery health fast despite ensuring proper charging habits. i charge mostly from 50-80 or 40-80 but still saw battery health degrading from 97% to 92% in just 3.5 months. while using 3utools app for windows, i saw that the battery health percentage being calculated was
I had an 11 Pro Max and it was at 92% after two years. That was after princely 70/30 wireless/lightning charging with battery optimising on. It seems to completely depend on usage habits. My 7+ that I just replaced was at 2 years 9 months on a battery that Apple replaced in late 2018 and I was only down to 94%. Same, I had an 11 Pro for a little less than a year, it never went below 100% battery health. But I had the 12 mini for an entire year, but by the end of that year the battery health was around 89-87%. I didn’t even use it that much either since I was at home all the time. Just don’t let your phone get over 90% and under 10% charge like ever and you won’t have any problems with battery health. Try to keep the charge around 50%. And of course you have to practice battery hygiene which means not plugging in your phone all night. It’s really not that hard especially with fast charging.

The iPhone 11 and 12 Series require an additional tool in order to restore the battery health to 100% and by replacing just the cell of the battery we can av
